The Movement Play Microfestival is powered by solar power and biodiesel, and any gasoline usage is offset with the purchase of carbon offsets. All food served is organic, seasonal, and sustainably raised. We highly encourage car-pooling and purchasing carbon offsets to reduce your transportation carbon footprint. To support this green effort, when you purchase your ticket you will have an opportunity to purchase carbon offsets and redwood forest stewardship offsets for $10 through Green Mountain Energy.

LOCATION:

The Movement Play Microfestival is held in northern California east of Willits, a few hours north of San Francisco. Venue directions are provided during the month of June by email to ticket holders after they purchase their tickets. Willits is a 2.5 hour drive north of San Francisco, and the venue is 30 minutes east off of Highway 101. The roads out to the venue are dirt roads that are sometimes bumpy, and generally dusty. Cars with really low clearances are not suggested. Most normal cars do just fine on the back roads.

If you have a ride to offer, you can do so through the Movement Play Facebook group.

COMMUNITY BUS/VAN:

The Movement Play team is working on arranging a biofuels shuttle bus. Details will be announced in May or early June.

FRONT GATE CLOSES AT 11:59 P.M.:

If you are driving up in the evening, plan to arrive by 11:30 p.m..  The front gate to the venue will close at 12:00 a.m. sharp on Friday night. The check in station closes on Friday night, and Saturday arrivals are not permitted, unless previously arranged with the Movement Play Security Manager. At the event, all vehicles will require a parking pass. To promote carpooling, there is a discount for cars carrying multiple people.
